Located on the Arizona and California border along the southern Colorado River, the river provides an oasis in
arid desert to the migrating birds flying south along the Pacific Flyway to Central and South America and is a
habitat as well for many other animals such as feral donkeys, raccoons, lizards, chipmunks, and more.
